• You need a shop that makes sales
not "a site with a shopping cart"

  • "Can buy from you"
does not equal "will buy from you"

  • A great selection
    that nobody sees
    doesn't sell.

Artisan Crew Online Shop Website Development:
Building you shops that sell, not "sites with a shopping cart"

Almost anyone can open an online shop. There's software for that.
Almost anyone can make a fairly pretty website. There are templates for that.
Almost anyone can think of a shop name.
Those are relatively easy things.
So why isn't everyone making loads of money online off their websites?

The hard part is knowing what makes a shop that sells.

We Do the Hard Parts.

We put our money where our mouths are.

Every day.

We Have Experience Running Our Own Shops

We’ve run multiple successful online shops ourselves since 2007. We have firsthand experience in what it takes, the pitfalls of running a shop, and what’s really important. We offer upfront or commission-based pricing, so you don’t have to settle from the start. From large e-commerce companies to small online boutique shops, our goal is to help you, the client, improve sales and run a successful business. We know that it is not just about the ability to buy something from the site, it's about how to make the client's business stand out from the millions of sites already out there.

We Know Running a Site is a lot Harder Than it Looks

Anyone can start an internet business, but in order for it to be successful, you need to integrate online marketing strategies. Most places that build online stores just build the site, but Artisan Crew wants your site to be as successful as possible. Their goal is to build you a site. Our goal is to help you make sales. We know that a fancy shopping cart and checkout button don't make a successful online store. Nowadays, anyone can put these into a site, but without the marketing know-how, most businesses will not see the maximum potential of their online store.

We Have a Solid Technical Base, Putting Your Needs First

Since our business was founded by experts in two disciplines, software development and internet marketing, the two key components in making a successful online business, we are confident that we can offer the best in e-commerce solutions.

We Can Do It For You

With Our Expertise In:

The Advantages of Using a Proprietary System

Other companies tend to use widely available open source packages to build their online stores, resulting in the online equivalent of a strip mall, making it hard for a store to stand out. That's where ACE Inc comes in. With our proprietary system, we build you a unique store for your unique needs, brand you and get you recognized.

Connecting to Core Systems

If you have both an online and off-line store, whether you're a large-scale e-commerce site or a thriving online store, it can be difficult to integrate your on- and off-line core business systems. With ACE Inc's experience in core business management systems, we're experts at integrating on- and off-line systems.

Bringing in Customers with S.E.M. (Search Engine Marketing)

S.E.O. runs in the background of every internet search constantly. With this in mind, we've developed StoreACE, a shopping cart system that utilizes S.E.O. Unlike your average shopping cart, it plays a part in helping to drive traffic to your site.

Flexible Multi-Lingual / Multi-Currency Checkout Systems

We can customize our checkout system to cater to any payment system in whatever language and currency your business needs. We specialize in multi-lingual, multi-currency systems.

eCommerce FAQs

Frequently Answered Questions

Custom eCommerce Software vs Packaged

Why can’t we use a packaged software like Drupal, Joomla
or Shopify?

You CAN, we don't. And here's why:
As we explained on our top page, even companies with their own internal developers and internet departnments can really benefit from a C.M.S. (Contents Management System) driving their website. Sadly, because most "web design firms" and "online ad agencies" don't actually have real software developers internally and have to farm out actual programming and development (often overseas), they don't have the option of offering custom C.M.S. solutions to their clients and instead have to "customize" (set specific fields and parameters in) popular and readily available C.M.S. like Joomla or Drupal. Are these always NOT the answer? No. If one of those solutions is satisfactory and you don't need specialized contents or formats, they might be a solution for some. HOWEVER we choose not to focus on the pre-packaged solutions and instead offer a fully custom CMS for those of you who just need more, and who need the originality of not starting at the same place as every other business in your sector. In our SEO section, we talked about SEO being a marathon. When you use the exact same software as your competitors, you’ve handicapped yourself to being in the middle of the pack with them. You will never fall all the way to the bottom (most likely) but you definitely will not win the race, either. We understand that when you're making payroll and running an actual business, being in the middle of the pack is just not an option.

Responsive Website Design

What Are Responsive Websites, and Do You Make Responsive Websites?

Responsive websites are websites designed to respond to the different platform (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone) and screen size a user has and adjusts the site to fit. In this way, your site is not constrained when a user views it on mobile, tablets, or on different screen sizes. In fact, this website is a responsive website. You can see how it responds by changing the size of your browser or viewing it on a device with a different size screen. Go ahead, try it. See? Super cool, huh? It’s automatically optimized for each resolution, which is increasingly important as more traffic comes from mobile or tablet devices with varying screen sizes.
Still not convinced? We've got serious mobile traffic stats and a quote from Google about how much better responsive web design is.

Why Not Sell on Amazon

Why Shouldn't We Sell on Amazon or eBay?

Reselling through Amazon, eBay, or any other conglomeration of resellers is just a price battle. You’re competing against companies doing exactly what you’re doing, and in some cases against the manufacturer of the product (or similar products) who can sell retail for the price you buy at wholesale. Having your own, differentiated eCommerce site allows you to compete on more than price. You can leverage your branding, your selling points, and (most importantly) you can optimize for SEO and drive more traffic to you. Did we mention Amazon charges up to a 25% fee for selling through them and allows direct from Chinese manufacturer sales? That's a pretty high price to pay for a price war.
Selling a unique product on Amazon is also an unnecessary uphill battle. Even though you may not be competing on price with people selling the same products, you are competing with people selling very similar products who have no idea you exist. Leveraging an optimized site which is driving traffic to your awesome product is a better option, in our opinion. Oh, and the up to 25% fees they charge, too.

Custom Shopping Carts

Why not use the cart my hosting company provides?

Hosting companies sell hosting. Many don’t have a 24-hour customer service line for when the site which is your livelihood is not working correctly. And if they do, you’re likely to get someone in a call center overseas reading from a knowledge base, which is usually no more informative than Googling it yourself. If you’re expert enough not to need this support, you’re probably expert enough to realize that what they offer is simply not at a level to run a business effectively.
Expecting a good ecommerce system from a hosting company is like expecting gourmet food from a gas station. Try the sushi. We dare you.
