DataCon is data conversion tool that analyzes the
"to" and "from" database structures and allows the user to choose options that
help produce a data migration program that suits their needs. In the event that
there isn't an appropriate table in the "to" database, DataCon will
automatically create one for you.
At the present time, DataCon is only
designed to work for Oracle and Access databases, but is currently being
modified to include others.
The only information that you the user
need to choose is from which table to which table and from which field to
which field. You can also use standard SQL to choose what data you want to extract.
